Happy Birthday, Sasori! There's just something cool about puppets and dolls, even when they scare the heck out of you (don't even get us started on Chucky). And we should also salute those who are pulling the strings, even if he is a bad guy. So in the proper birthday spirit, we send our best wishes to Sasori, who certainly made a huge impact on the Shippuden story and treated us to some amazing battle sequences along the way. Enjoy a new character wallpaper, read Stephen Bajza's tribute below, and contribute some well-wishes in the forum. --- Everyone knows about sand sibling Kankuro and his mastery with puppets, but we should also respect Sasori’s genius. [Shippuden Episode 7: “Run, Kankuro”] It’s just something that happens when you spend your whole life building deadly dolls. Sasori has certain in-depth knowledge of his puppets that gives him an edge over poor Kankuro. [Shippuden Episode 8: “Team Kakashi, Deployed”] It’s a good thing both ninja use chakra to control their weapons, because a pile of tangled twitching puppets would make for a very lame battle. When you wish Sasori a happy birthday, do it with open arms! Despite the fact that most Akatsuki ninja are hard to please, Sasori only really wants one simple thing. [Shippuden Episode 27: Impossible Dream”] Whether we should really give it to him on his birthday is a different question.
